It is important that the scraper is sharp at all times. This makes it easy and effective to work on the base surface. The less sharp the scraper is, the more pressure is required. This may negatively affect the properties of the base. Sharpen the scraper using Swix T0408, T410 and T412-220.
$4.00
Used for klister application or to remove wax or klister from the base before cleaning with Base Cleaner.

Supreme in extreme cold conditions! Kick wax in the classic V-Line, perfect for both touring, training, and racing. Excellent grip. - New fallen snow -12°C to -25°C (10°F to -12°F). - Old fine-grained snow -15°C to -30°C (5°F to -22°F). As the name indicates, this is hardwax made for the coldest conditions. Frequently used in the polar regions of Europe and North America. The V-Line of hard kick waxes is made for racing and recreational skiing. Their quality is very high due to fully refined petroleum waxes, synthetic rubbers, and pharmaceutical-quality oils.

Great kick just below zero! Kick wax in the classic V-Line, perfect for both touring, training, and racing. Excellent grip. - New fallen snow 0°C to -3°C (32°F to 27°F). - Old fine-grained snow -2°C to -6°C (28°F to 21°F). A very frequently used wax, both in racing and touring. When Blue Extra becomes somewhat slippery, a thin layer of Violet Special probably is the right wax. The V-Line of hard kick waxes is made for racing and recreational skiing. Their quality is very high due to fully refined petroleum waxes, synthetic rubbers, and pharmaceutical-quality oils.

Durable base wax! Base kick wax for transformed and new snow. Improved wear on kick wax. To be used as first layer for all hard waxes in new fallen snow, transformed fine-grained snow and old snow from +1°C to -20°C (30°F to -4°F). Rub on and iron in with a waxing iron (110°C/230°F). Cork smooth. Base wax is much easier to apply when it is cold. Store it in the fridge or in the snow before application.

Extremely durable base wax! Basebinder kick wax for transformed and old snow. Improved wear on kick wax. A durable base wax for all hard waxes in colder conditions than -1°C (30°F). To be used when the snow has been transformed (granular) and the wear on the wax is high. Rub on and iron in with a waxing iron (110°C/230°F). Cork smooth. Base wax is much easier to apply when it is cold. Store it in the fridge or in the snow before application.
$21.00
Base spray wax for fine-grained and transformed snow. To apply, hold the bottle upside down and slowly move it along the grip zone of the ski base on both sides of the groove. The distance between the base and the bottle should be approximately 5 cm. Apply only a thin layer and wait a few minutes before applying the relevant grip wax for the conditions. You will then have a wax layer that is much more durable than without a base wax. Very convenient for training and when you don't have a waxing iron available. - Sprayable base wax - For conditions that can quickly wear away grip wax - For ski waxers - Hard-wearing base
$20.00
For wet and moist new snow. Works also on wet transformed snow down to 0°C (32°F). Apply thicker if very wet.
