The P Zero Race TLR is the most performing tire in Pirelli’s portfolio, as well as being the first tire with a tubeless technology entirely made in Italy. The design features SpeedCore technology in a 120tpi casing, utilizing a layer of compound mixed with aramid that covers the inner layer of the tire, improving the smoothness and the resistance of the rubber. The result is a less stiff, but faster tire. The compound on the other hand, maintains the same advanced SmartEVO technology, commonly found in other high-performance tires throughout the P Zero range. - SpeedCore is an innovative tubeless-ready construction that consists of a thin air-tight layer of rubber compound infused of aramid particles. This layer covers the internal part of the tire and thanks to the presence of the aramid into the rubber blend, it allows for better mechanical resistance, improved air retention and overall greater flexibility - SmartEVO compound uses a blend of polymers to provide maximum grip with a low rolling resistance, allowing for maximum speed and control - 700 x 28 and larger sizes are compatible with hookless rims, 700 x 26 size tires are not hookless compatible - Hookless rims subject to ETRTO 5bar/73psi max pressure limitation

P ZERO™ Race combines the advantages of the tube-type technology in an all-round cycling tyre for high-intensity training sessions and races. The TechBELT Road carcass improves reliability against punctures, without impacting the weight of the tyre, whilst the special SmartEVO Compound enhances grip on both wet and dry asphalt compared to our previous cycling compounds. TechBELT Road A road structure with 120, 60, or 26 TPI, enhanced by a puncture-resistant nylon reinforcement layer beneath the tread, making it an extremely reliable setup capable of ensuring high levels of comfort for any type of use, from racing (120 TPI) to daily commuting (26 TPI).
