Overview

Our mission at Gorham Bike & Ski is to get more people on bikes. We believe in the power of the bicycle and how a bike and a bike ride can transform peoples lives.

Our 2021 #littleshredders is designed to give riders 7-12 years of age a chance to experience trail riding in a safe, inclusive environment on beginner friendly trails.

Details

Our 2021 program will consist of a one-day session. Don't worry. We'll be holding two sessions in case one date does not work for you! Participants receive instruction from our experienced staff about different foundational skills and have the opportunity to practice those skills. During the day long session we will focus on General Trail and Riding Safety, Body Position & Balance for increased control and negotiating varied terrain and obstacles safely and effectively. Oh, and did we mention we had TONS of fun?

We will hold two different sessions on the following Saturdays in August:

  • Session #1: Saturday, August 7th
  • Session #2: Saturday, August 14th

Sessions start at 9:00AM and will end around 3:00PM and will be held on the Gorham pump track and trail system. We will break for lunch around noon. Participants should bring their own lunch. We will provided water for lunch and have some snacks for during the day. Please let us know about any allergies your child may have when you complete the registration form.
